LUCAFORM OVERVIEW.
Architecture | Preservation | Visual Studies
Lucaform is a design practice in development that explores architecture through the lenses of memory, material, and lived experience. Focused on historical preservation and adaptive reuse, the work investigates how buildings accumulate cultural meaning over time, particularly in domestic, vernacular, and everyday spaces that are often overlooked in architectural discourse.
The projects span architectural design, urban research, and visual studies, utilizing drawing, modeling, photography, and collage as tools for observation. Instead of offering fixed solutions, Lucaform conceptualizes architecture as an evolving archive where form serves both as a spatial construct and a cultural record.
Founder Jordan Lucas is an architecture student and designer with interests in preservation, urban history, and community-centered design. His work is influenced by modernist clarity, historical typologies, and personal narratives drawn from place, family, and memory. This portfolio showcases his ideas and ongoing work as an archive.
